Victoria Reinhardt is
Working Hard for Ramsey County.Dear Neighbors,
It is an honor to serve as your Ramsey County Commissioner. I am working hard to advance our shared values and I look forward to running an aggressive re-election campaign in 2020.
The current federal administration has presented many challenges for local governments and those who are fighting for quality public services and a clean environment. I have a proven record of taking on the challenging and complex issues facing Ramsey County, working hard and finding solutions.
I look forward to advancing our shared values of equity and fairness as we build our future in the most dense and most diverse county in Minnesota. Ramsey County has 5% of the land area and 17% of the population of the Metro Area. We need to work together to protect our environment, keep our families safe and healthy, and develop economic opportunity for all.
I will continue to be responsive to your concerns and be a leader in protecting our water, our social services, and expand transit and recycling opportunities. Together we will face our challenges head on.
I respectfully ask for your support for re-election.

About Victoria
Victoria lives with her husband J.P. Barone in White Bear Lake, where they are active community members and grandparents of two wonderful grandchildren. Their two sons and daughter-in-law also live in Ramsey County.
Commissioner Reinhardt began her life in public service as a president of her local Parent Teacher Organization. She has gone on to be a coalition builder, committed to building organizations as diverse as the Recycling Association of Minnesota and the Ramsey County Violence Free Families Initiative.
As a founding board member, she served as chairperson of the Recycling Association of Minnesota from 1989 to 1991. Since being elected Victoria has been working on regional issues such as recycling, energy, transportation, housing and technology integration.
Ramsey County Issues
Environment
Combating global climate change starts with building a circular economy. One that is less wasteful and finds ways to reuse and recycle materials and burns less carbon heavy fossil fuels. Victoria has made Ramsey County an international leader in that effort, and has been leading the fight to hold manufactures responsible for the products they produce and making it easier for citizens to reduce their waste.
Equity
Under Victoria’s leadership, Ramsey County has realigned our service delivery model, so that we can make sure we are providing services to people where and when they need them. To attain equitable outcomes we need to have more shared decision making and she will continue to fight for more transparent and participatory decision making.
Economic Development
Ramsey County is the most densely populated and diverse county in Minnesota. We need to be creative in finding opportunities to redevelop housing and commercial areas to help decrease the tax burden on all of us. A key to doing that is to build healthy transportation options like the bus rapid transit lines being planned to connect Saint Paul with White Bear Lake and Woodbury.
We need to make sure that everyone has access to quality libraries and healthy recreational opportunities. Whether you are looking for Tuj Lub, golf, hockey, bike trails, or nature walks, Ramsey County is maintaining a parks system for you.
